It took a long time for me get diagnosed. All my bloodwork was/and is normal. So I was in considerable pain with damage before I finally received treatment. Part of the problem is I have Ankylosing Spondylitis. My SI joints are fused and my ribs are being attacked, other than that the rest acts like RA, with my ankles, wrists, shoulders, and fingers being affected. So thats why I'm here. I have been an active member of this wonderful site for over 4 years and I have learned so much. Thank you.

Because I went without treatment, it has taken a lot of meds in different combos to manage to even half way get it under control. I am doing good for the moment and hope it continues. I am going to list all the meds in the order I have tried them. In the hopes it will help someone else.

Humira, Enbrel, Remicade & MTX, Humira + MTX, Humira+MTX+Azulfadine, Orencia+MTX+Azulfadine, Humira+MTX+Azulfadine+pred, Humira+MTX+Arava and I'm tapering off pred.
