I am 45 years old, women, irish/polish heritage, healthy weight, no pre existing health problems at all. I have not see a Dr in 8 years because I am never sick. I am in process of diagnosis, testing for RA (arthritis panel) Lupus (SEL panel) treated for bilateral joint pain elbows with methylprednisolone with good result, treated for blilateral hip pain(pain in groin?) with shot toradal was able to walk the next day, Back pain on both sides, stiffness upon waking, very fatigued can only move about and accomplish much for about 4 hours mid day, then must stop. Being treated for anemia, thyroid is normal, kidney/bun normal, liver normal. Have weakness in both hands due to ulnar neuropathy ?? being tested for Valley fever, cancer screening CA-125 and CEA,

My ESR SED rate tested at 137, yes that is correct 137, not a typo, normal is under 20. Looking for answers ................

Update, Dr said all tests came back Neg. mentioned RA can test neg and still be RA, went for another ESR SED rate test and to check my anemia.

Headaches and pain at the base of my head, in my neck radiating down my arms to my hands. Lower back pain, have to have a heating pad on my lower back for 1 hour before I can get out of bed. Groin pain with stabbing pains. Difficulty walking any distance, must stop walking to sit down. Difficulty standing for any length of time, must sit down. Pain on the top of my feet feels like the bones on top of my feet are broken. Pain in my hands feels like all the bones are broken. Extreme fatique, unable to leave the house most days, some days only able to get out of bed to use the bathroom.

No redness or swelling that I can see ?

After Iron supplements my anemia improved by .2 so not much help there. Urine came back with protein and blood. Blood pressure has come back high on the last two, seperate, Dr visits. I am now occasionally incontinent, never before been incontinant. My second ESR SED rate about six weeks after the first one, came back at 139 (yes 139 not a typo)

Now my urine came back with bilirum ? from my liver. My blood pressure is still high and is rising each time, I am having shortness of breath and rapid pounding heart if I try to exercise, I also have a dry cough, so I have an appointment to see a cardiologist.

I now have a referral to a Rhuematologist. I feel much better now though. Not as much daily fatique, getting use of my hands back can open things and grip things, can move about now.

This is a pattern for a year now, I did not keep track at first of course, I thought it would just go away. But as much as I can remember there were three episodes so it seems to last 6- 8 weeks then I get 6-8 week period where I get much better, no severe pain only mild lingering pain when touched, but still abnormal fatique. But I am afraid I am losing ground, each time is worse, more areas are affected and it takes longer to recover.
