My mother is 60 years old and she is suffering from severe arthritis in the knees. The condition has been deteriorating since a long time. We have tried many doctors and medicines including homeopathic, ayurvidic as well as alopathic. Can someone provide me with some very professional advice about what can be done as the measures we are taking don't seem to do any good.

There have been many advances in surgeries to help ease the pain from arthritis pain in the knees. You don't say what type of arthritis, but for now, we'll just go on the assumption that she has a lot of damage to the knee joints.

Synvisc is the least invasive of newer techniques. It's injections that are meant to help lubricate the knee joints.

Partial knee replacement
Full knee replacement.

The surgeries are major, but many people have had them done and experienced a great improvement in their quality of life.

For medications, look under "Conditions and Treatments" on the Arthritis Foundation site and read the Drug Guide. It provides a lot of information about different medication options.

My mother is 73 years old with arthritis in her ankles and hips. She was taking Celebrex but it caused ulcers in her stomach, so I got her started on drinking 4 oz. of Himalayan Goji Juice a day. This is an all natural health drink that I believe will help your mother, like it did mine. Please go to my website www.keepitlight.freelife.com for more information.
