We have tried every alternative for my four year old daughter. We have her on an anti-inflamation diet, take her to acupuncture, an herbalist, an osteopath, a naturopath, a physical therapist and even a shaman. Nothing seems to touch this disease but the heavy medication. Because she is so young and has had it most of her life, it is hard to tell what may or may not bring her relief. I am now adamant that she stay on her weekly injections of methotrexate and daily naproxen, prescribed for the next three yeas:/ Can anyone old enough to articulate their experience, tell me how complimentary alternative medicine has helped with arthritis?
