Pat, thanks for all your very informative posts. Info coming from a long-time RA'er is so helpful to us who are newer to the chronicity of this disease. I live in Texas where we have already had 50 days of 100+ temps and the next ten days are forecasted with nothing less than 102. Our mailbox is on our front porch which receives the full dose of blistering afternoon sun. For this reason, I am afraid to ever use a mail-order pharmacy, although it would save us a bundle. I can't think of a solution to this. No matter how well the meds were insulated, I don't believe they could possibly be kept at the proper temperature. As it is, when I pull the mail out of the box right after delivery, it is literally wet in places, and then only reason I can come up with is that it's the poor postman's sweat!

What a blessed gift you received! An unexpected, joyous gift!
