I'm 31 and was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis on 11/08/1999 when I was 22 & in my last semester in college. My dx was later changed to JRA with adult persistence. After living with my parents for 6 months and wanting to die every single day, I saw an ad on TV for Remicade. After fighting with my rheumy at the time, I tried Enbrel for a month but it didn't work much. In March 2000 I began Remicade & I have been on it ever since. I'm in a medication induced remission. I also take MTX, Folic Acid, Ibuprofen and Flexerill. I have been married to my wonderful hubby since 2006 and he loves the term "arthritis friendly". We have a lab mix named Oreo. We are "celebrating" my 10 anniversary with RA by co-chairing the local Arthritis Walk in May 2009.
