I am 54 years old today. I was diagnosid shortly after my 50th birthday. I have not loged on to this site in a long time. RA is a
battle everyday that you fight some days and give in some days.
I have been on all the dmrs. And was put on enbrel ejections about 2 years ago along with methotrexate. I was taken of meth
about a year ago because I keep sinus infections and bronchitis and pheumonia. The lung dr said he thought it was methotrexate toxicity. I am on Enbrel 50mg 1en a week and Sulfasalazine EC 500mg 1 tab x 2 aday. I had sinus surgury in May and shoulder
surgury the 1st of september. I was off of my enbrel and I had a terrible outbreak of RA The pain was awfull. I try to never have to
get of my RA meds again. I have had Vasulitis, and the last time
I saw my lung dr he said he still hurd crackeling in my lower lobes. I never thought RA would cause all these problems. And evertime I talk to my RA Dr. she says that the vascuitis and lung
problems are rare. I stay depressed even thouth I take lexpro twice a day. The 3 month I was off my Enbrel caused a lot of dammage because even though I am back on meds I am having alot of pain. I have thought alot lately how much I would love to be able to talk to others with the same problems
