Is there a link between Coumadin and Osteo- or other arthritis?
This is why I ask:
Having been off and back on Coumadin twice since last August, I noticed that each time I was on it, my fingernails took a major dip in shininess, smoothness, fullness, and overall size of my fingernails. From the point where Coumadin took effect there is a definite change.

Do you have any research that would link Coumadin with cartilage loss? If it affects my nails like this, wouldn't it also affect my cartilage? Since being on Coumadin this second time, my hands that only occasionally hurt from arthritis have begun throbbing at night whenever I use them even moderately in the daytime.

Is there a link between Coumadin and Osteo- or other arthritis?
