Dear young 12 yr old lady,

My heart pours out love and concern for you and your quality of life.  I too suffer greatly however I am 45 and was pain free up until 11 years ago.  I have deteriorating disks they say.  I have taken every pain killer to no avail.  They don't stop the pain, just make it worse.  You are like a zombie on them and the quality of life goes down.  I have been pill free for 7 years now and still the pain, however I don't have the added kidney pain from all the pills, like Vioxx, bextra, naproxen, among others that did not work.  I would suggest stop eating how others eat.  Seriously, eat only veggies and fruits, nuts and seeds and grains.  Do not eat processed food ever, that means NO pop, as sugar feeds this dis-ease.  How is your family life?  Arthritis is also a symptom of unresolved conflict.  Remember that now it is your responsility to take care of you and no other.  Start reading and learning about food.  It is not to late to completely reverse this as you are still young.  Please head my counsel when I say no pop as it flushes the calcium from your bones and causes so much problems as well as makes you fat.  When I was your age I had the added responsibility of raising my sisters and Dad somewhat and I feel the load started an emotional blockage that lead up to resentment and eventually to this pain.  I need to forgive and release this from my emotional body so my physical body might be set free from the damage I have inflicted on me.  I hope this will help.  Do not give up search and look into these things I have said.  I love you.  Hang on it will get better.  Lorene

Hello ! I'm Kristin and I also have this pain regularly i'm 17 years old and I was thinking the same thing when I was 12 all you have to do is keep telling yourself this isn't nothing that nothing can stop you from doing what you want to do ! My doctors put me on Embrel about Six years ago and it made the biggest difference in my life yet. Ask your doctor about it. Other then that if you need someone to talk to let me know i'm always up to help since i've been there before (:
