I was wondring since I have never missed a dose what should I do. Should I call the phamist or my doctor? or should I just take it? and I was wondering if anyone else has missed there dose of enbrel before and what did you have to do about it?

Amber,
You can just take it when you remember you missed it. You will just need to move your next dose ahead depending on how many days you forgot it by.If you take the once weekly you would take it again next week after you did today's injection. But if you do the 2 times a week, then you would need to do it again in about 3 to 4 days. You can call your doctor but they will more then likely tell you the same thing.

Amber,
No problem, I'm so used to the dosing. I could probably do it in my sleep. lol! I've been on Enbrel for nearly 4 years I think. Although, I have been sick so I can't take it right now, i'm on strict orders no Enbrel til i'm over this latest infection is over. So far 2 months long...so ready for an injection. Hope you remember yours!

I hate it when I miss a dose because it catches up with me. Being on such a busy schedule it's hard to take time out of the day to set it aside, let it go to room temp, ice yourself, clean the spot, inject it slowly, clean the spot again, disposing the needle. I'm normally a person who's on the go ALL the time. I just started remembering to take it by thinking, wow that's like a half hour out of my day to relax!

Go ahead and take it. Then change your day to take it the day you took the injection.
