I've found that my memory has worsened, so I need a lot of reminders. I use Yahoo's free Internet calendar service that emails me reminders one day and several hours before appointments. (Of course, I have to remember to enter them into the calendar, or this doesn't work!) I've asked my husband to quiz me each morning about my plans for the day. And I have a magnetized calendar and white board on my refrigerator, so my appointments and to-do list are where I'll see them several times a day. This not only keeps me on track, it leaves some record of the things I have been able to do. What do you do to combat fibro fog?

i have polyarticular arthritis (since i was 13) and recently my doctor informed me that i also have fibro, as if i didn't have enough to deal with! it makes me really tired, which interferes with school quite a bit. i usually take a nap, which helps for the rest of the day, and try to get enough sleep at night. i also have someone help me remember to write things down (like homework!) so that i don't forget them later because i was in such a fog that i'll completely blank out. i also do light exercise, on doctors orders, which gets endorphins going and makes me feel energized, at least for a little while. let me know if you have any other suggestions!

::grin:: oh that fog! I read in a book called The Perricone Prescription and thereby tried it and it helped was blueberries have an enzyme that even helps prevent altzheimers! Also, salmon or any kind of deep water fish, or fish oil, salmon oil, or DMAE (concentrated fish oil - good for saggy muscles also) help. Good luck! bjay
