I was recently diagnosed with arthritis (but was never told what kind I have) and between my new rheumatologist and other doctors (trying to figure out what was wrong)I have probably tried about 15 different drugs. My doctor is now saying that if this last drug, celebrex 400 mg, doesn't work he is just going to have ot send me to a pain clinic. The majority of my pain is in my fingers. My whole hand and fingers ache and I can't open them up well to hit keys correctly on the keybaord which makes them hurt even worse. I am having a very hard time working but my husband and I can't live without my pay. I don't know what to do anymore. Has anyone has the problem of nothing working and with this kind of pain?

Has your Dr. said you unable to work? If so contact Social Sec. about Disability. I will tell you they always seem to deny you no matter what the 1st time. When they deny you look for a good Lawyer who specializes in Social Sec. Disability. That seems to be the only way to work it. The Lawyer gets a percentage of the 1st payment. They do pay you from the time you 1st applied and were denied.

Try non drug therapies... The enSonix@home device continues to get more and more positive research reports. Another article just came out today that they are finding it not only works with arthritis, but other related diseases. The announcement today was that they are finding it works on DC (Dupuytren's Contracture) which is the shortening of the fibrous bands in the hands and fingers.
