I have had joint inflammation for 14 years. It started with bursitis in the shoulders, stayed on anti-inflammatories for 7 straight years.I thought it went away but it returned a few years later in the cox 2, (end of spine).I was mis-diagnosed many times, and last year a doctor figured it out, and put me back on anti-inflammatories again. Some work, some don't.Vioxx works, but my insurance won't pay because I am too young at 42 to meet the criteria for that drug.I have been taking something else and it is not working.Been in a flare up for weeks. Anyone else have this problem? What do we do, beside paying for the drug out of pocket? Don't seem right to me.P.S. I haven't read anything on here about the cox 2. Kim

Hi Kim: I completely understand your frustration with insurance companies and what they will and won't pay for. I just sent this post to someone else on a natural med that seems to be doing the trick for my pain. You can check it out at www.southernremedies.com. I've been taking for 4 months and its been great so far. Good luck to you. Cliff
