So I had to see my Primary care doctor this Wed. It was mostly just a follow up on everything, headaches to be honest. So he says have you seen the neuro..I say to be honest no. Well have you made an appt. Again, no. Why not? WELL, i've been a little busy going to the Allergist,Gastrointerolist, having the Upper Endosopsy or EGD as they call it. Getting set up on allergy shots, seeing the ENT again like you asked me to. Plus, of course my 3 month check-up with the rheumy. Needless to say, they think I now have exertion induced asthma, also known as exercise induced asthma. So have to use an inhaler when I'm going to be doing exercise or just anything that will make me exert myself so I do not go into coughing spells and breathing heavily. Well guess that's all for now.

My gosh! Hm you could delegate. Hire someone to go to part of those appointments and then just go to the ones where you like the doctor!

Seriously your running around makes me think of the advantages of having a medical center like at a university to see the doctors all in one place! And making them schedule them the same days so less running around.

Doesn't it make you think there is just something to the idea of too much specialization?

Maybe you need a star trek teleportation device. Hmm beam me to doc scotty!

All that running around is just not helping your health which is ironic. Is this your usual setup? Or is it just much busier than usual? I am hoping its just temp.

Yeah, I wish I could just have them all in one day. lol! It's not usual but people forget that when you have these auto-immune diseases that your lucky if you only have one disease you know. The rheumy is every three months like clockwork, The primary is every 2-4 months and that's if I manage not to get sick. The gastro I have to see for the acid refux, the allergist having to be back on allergy shots again that's once a week unless i'm sick then I don't go if i'm sick. The ENT well that's usually about once a year to check my sinuses. The neuro i'm suppose to be seeing but don't go. The primary wants me to go for my migraines but hmm, where do I have time to fit it in with everything else, oh and the neuro wants me to keep a calender of my headaches. (when I get one, duration of it and what I take to make it go away ect) yada, yada, yada. dare I mention the GYN for the Polycystic ovarian syndrom yeah. Is it too much to ask to be somewhat normal? Yeah right. Most of the time I do try and stay positive but I have my days, oh why me? Today i'm just tired.Well susan thanks for your post it made me laugh tonight. Talk to you soon.
