My most recent started May 15 and is still going on. Today I am not as bad as yesterday, which makes sense because I am seeing my doctor tomorrow! Murphy's Law!

I am just curious how long they last for everyone else.

I am not sure, haven't kept track. Try to just get through 1 day at a time otherwise it is just a little too much for me. I have been good in the way of little pain for sometime now. I just get so tired. Good luck Robin

I'm in good control now but when I wasn't, my really bad flares would only last about 36 hours or so. But, I am talking really bad. I would not be able to move any part of my body for a day and a half. Then I would start to get better gradually, then about 4 days later I wouldn't be able to move again.

I was just diagnosed about 6 months ago so I am new to this.  Does anyone have flares (feeling extra tired, more pain/stiffness & like you have the flu) that last several days or more & are brought on by not getting enough sleep?

I haven't specifically noticed a problem with sleep because I usually sleep well, but I think any form of stress can lead to a flare and I regard lack of sleep to be one form of stress.  I hope you find a way to avoid this stress.  God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.
