Hi,
I have Hallux Rigidus in both feet, and have to put off surgery as long as possible. I have heard about these bars for shoes, but I don't have alot of money to spend, so can't afford the "MBT" shoes. Can anyone refer me to a place to buy the shoes and/or the bars?

Hi JulieH
Two years ago I bought SAS Lace up walker shoes. I took then with a perscription from my Dr. to hade rockers and plates put in. This cost me $80.00 that Insurance wouldn't cover. It was well worth the cost. I can ust these shoes and walk longer. But relize even the rockers have a point when they will hurt. I went to an expensive Ladied shoe store and bought a $124.00 pair of Nike Sneakers that are made with a simular Rocker. In the heal is sewn 1122 if that helps. I've been wearing these sneaks for two years. Before that I would buy sneaks and in three weeks I felt my feet were being crushed. Hope this helps you.
