i guess calcium deposits are like bone spurs--whatever my stenosis or something is getting worse. I can't get rid of the sciatica down right leg. Now it feels like the tendons are tightening-up. I have to exercise/stretch about 5 times a day or I'm like the tin man on the Wizard of Oz! I don't want any more pain meds,,I want a solution. How about having the nerves burnt off in the spine? Does this work well? Also, I heard of a procedure where they make a small incision and hone off the bone spur--is there a name for that procdure? Does it work. I know i can't keep raising my Oxycontin,,I hate it! I do have a garden and dogs to care for,,but I am starting to fall a lot, and can't walk well anymore. I am on SSI Disability but would give the world to be able to walk a block again!! Any ideas? Yes, I am overweight, but have lost 48 pounds in 4 months--40 more to go!!!

Hi- when all else fails, neuro surgeons can sometimes remove the bone spurs rubbing on the nerves through a scope. It is worth a consultation with a surgeon who has had alot of experience with this. Congratulations on your weight loss!
