I asked this question a few months ago but couldn't find the thread. Someone said they had the Pride 670 and liked it. I definately want the infinite recline so I can sleep in it when needed. If anyone has this or a similar chair, do you still like it? Some of the web reviews complain about comfort. I am ready to buy one now so any advice would be helpful. Cindy

Hi Cindy,

I can't help withthe lift chair. Just want to know how you are doing. Any improvement? Are you going to get more Rituxan?

No improvement from retuxin. My dr is very frustrated. I am hoping to have my next round soon. Dr did extra labs at visit last week to make sure it was safe to have another round. I need to call tomarrow anyhow to check on neck MRI scheduled for this week. I am having nerve symptoms. I dread going to bed every night since I know I'm going to battle pain and trying to find a comfortable position all night. Then as we all know we wake up with even worse stiffness and pain. No wonder RA patients are tired frustrated. Cindy

((( HUGS ))). So sorry you are struggling so. Ask about a larger rituxan dose this time maybe following the lymphoma protocol.

Hi Cindy,

I have a Pride lift chair. Its the CL-30 model, though the salesman represented it as the LL-450 when I bought it. I'm satisfied with the chair, so I never went back to the guy to confront him about him selling me a "casual line" chair not a "luxury line" model. Oh well, guess the dude was desperate for a sale.

As I said, I'm happy w/the cl-30. Its comfortable. I'm 5'2" so its not too big. I have fallen asleep in it many times, though I don't know about sleeping in it all night.

I did have another lift chair before this one. It was by a different manufacturer and was larger, meant for a taller person. Prior to hip replacement surgery, I slept in it for a few months cuz I couldn't lift my legs to get into bed. It was comfortable cuz I had room for my blankets and pillows.

The cl-30 is a 3 position chair, I've never tried an infinite position.

Hope you find what you like/need, having a lift chair is great, and a nice option to sleeping in a bed when the RA is a problem.

Hey Cindy, I was just thinking about you and the chair the other day!! I recently had pneumonia and ended up sleeping in my hubby's recliner..it was okay, but I'd like one of my own and wondered what the latest word was on the zero-gravity...please let me know what you decide...
And I'm so sorry you're feeling so much pain..just a thought, but I have fibromyalgia in addition to RA and my rheumy had me try Lyrica, which is for nerve pain...I take it throughout the day in small doses so I don't get loopy (3 doses of 25mgs)and 75mgs at night..it's been helping with the fibro nerve pain...sending you some spoons and prayers girlfriend...love, jess

Hey Jess- The zero gravity chair that was also a power lift chair (from Relax The Back) was really uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure that I'm going with the Pride 670. It reclines toally flat into a bed and the feet and back are controled seperately so you can position any combo position you want. I have got to have a chair that I can sleep in when it is too painful to lie in bed. It is $500 less than a DME if I order from the web and that's including paying for a tech to totally set it up in my home. I'm having an MRI of my neck tomarrow. Found out I won't have retuxin until Nov. Means I'll be throwing up for Thanksgiving cause for some reason it really makes me sick. I tried Lyrica because I have neuropathy but even smallest dose at bedtime made me a zombie. I'm taking SO many meds now and what's crazy is they make me sleepy but I can't sleep. I am lucky to sleep 1-3 hous a night. Then every 3 days I get desperate and take an Ambien. I refused to get hooked on them again. This time of year is stressful anyhow. Coming up on the 2 year mark of DH's accident then his birthday. I am determined to enjoy all the wedding planning for both daughters. I wanted to take a special trip with them before the weddings next June so we are taking a girl trip to New York for Christmas. It will be the first vacation for me in 3 1/2 years. I'm thinking about getting a very light weight wheelchair to take along so there is no chance RA will wreck the trip. Sorry this rambled on. I plan to order lift chair within the week so I'll give you the update when I get it. My family is getting it for my birthday. Thanks for checking in with me- you're a doll. Sorry you had pneumonia but glad you are on the mend. Cindy

Cincy I've had my pride670 for over a year and could not live without it...as you know it reclined to a bed so you can sleep in it. It has saved my knees and feet...I claimed it at tax time. Glad to help...Flo
