Just to update those of you who don't think you will ever find someone, YOU WILL!!!!!! You just have to stay positive and keep looking. The man I have been dating and I got engaged recently and we are very happy!! He knows all about my RA and even my Enbrel shots don't freak him out (not that he gives them or anything like that though). I have just been completly honest with him from almost the beginning. I didn't tell him about the RA until we had been dating about 2 months which I found a good time to do this. But each person knows when a good time is. I think you just have to not hit them with it like it is a death sentence and just let them know it is something you have to deal with. If they love you they wont care about that.
I thought I would never find someone who would not care about it but I was wrong and I know those of you who are looking can find someone just as wonderful! Well maybe not just as wonderful but I guess I am a bit biased as he is my fiance now!!!

I have to agree with KatherineS those wonderful guys are out there. My husband excepted me illness and all. He also gives me my shots because I end up vomiting trying myself. He doesn't like it, to have to inflict pain on me, but he knows it is something he can help me with.

Hi,
I am 45 years diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis since 1997. Even before diagnosing, I have had pain when I did labor work. Because of my arthritis, I have had difficulties holding a job. It affects my whole life. I may feel OK for a while, and other time I do not feel OK. Not only I did not marry, but also I did not have any intimate relationship. Now I am not sure if I ever marry and have family or will I ever find a partner before I die. At the same time, I do not look like a sick person.
