I have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis-polyarticular (effecting more than five joints) since the age of two. Basically I can not remember a day with out arthritis and the pain that accompanies it. I have arthritis in my hands, feet, wrist, elbows, shoulders, toes, knees, fingers, ankles, and neck. I am now seventeen years old. When I was younger I always thought I was the only kid that had it. When I came on here I saw that so many kids had arthritis and I am glad that they are awaring people that children can get Arthritis too. Growing up it was so uncomfortable having people staring at my hands and asking why they were so swollen. I used to play volleyball and I could not set the volleyball because I can not bend my wrist. I went out for cheerleading but did not make the team because I could not do a cart wheel. At the time I had not told any one besides my friends that I had arthritis, so I was made fun of alot. My classmates said my fingers looked like minicorn dogs. I was so shy and insecure because of my arthritis. Now that they are getting the word out there that it not only effects adults but children, It is great. I have been going to the Doctor almost every month for Arthritis since I was younger than five. I have tried methotrexate, Enbrel, Humira, Orencia, Daypro, prednisone, and many others. Now my Doctors wants to see if Rituxan works. I researched Rituxan online and did not find much on it for Arthritis. I was wondering if any one or someone you know has used Rituxan.

There is an Herbalist Practitioner in Hawaii that relieves cutaneous and somatic pain in 10 to 30 seconds, that last from 6 hrs to 24 hrs. you rub it over the area and within 10 to 30 seconds. The pain subside's. Don't know why no one out side of Hawaii has'nt heard about it yet?
I could check and send you a container. There only 2oz

I'm sorry you've had such a rough time. I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis when I was in high school. It's not fun, and it made high school that much more awkward, so I know how you feel--it's been almost 10 years since I graduated, and I still get upset thinking about the people who called me a hypochondriac and many other hurtful things.
Anyway, I'm not on Rituxan, but there are many people on the RA Connect board that are on it. Sometimes it just takes finding the right combination of drugs to get the disease under control. I take Remicade at the maximum dosage every 4 weeks (the shortest interval allowed) with 20 mg of methotrexate a week and 1200 mg of Daypro a day. That keeps me relatively functional. And it's taken until this past month for me to get a treatment regimen that actually works. So, sometimes it takes years.
Most likely you're rheumatologists have been very hesitant with trying some of the newer drugs and stronger combinations since you're young. They tend to be more cautious, even when you're in your 20s, like me.
