If I did not have this board to complain, I would have to wake up my children and then my husband who is sleeping, and start asking for help again. Does anyone else have a holiday mess they would like their family to help with? My hands hurt!!! I don't want to do all this stuff by myself. The good news is that 1 child has moved out (she is 22), and my 19 year old is moving into an apartment this next month. I will then have my 17 year old. For a boy, he is not too messy. But when it comes to my health and helping me out...he is in complete denial and likes to leave the house without doing chores.
Raising a family, keeping up with work, cleaning after the holidays!!! I am at least 7 years away from retirement. I would much rather deal with my RA then. It seems that God had other plans though.

I would like it if my family would anticipate what I need help with and help. But that almost never happens. I have tried lots of ways to get help and finally realized that the best way is to just ask every time. "Honey, would you please help me pull up the covers?" You would think after years of telling him it is hard for me to do myself that he would just do it. But no! I have to ask every time. So, whatever it is that you need help with, just ask. EVERY TIME! ss
