I just got diagnosed today. I want to learn as much as I can as I have other chronic illnesses too. Any suggestions relating to FMS would be greatly appreciated.

Getting a diagnosis is a great start! Did you have to wait long to get one?
I think a lot of us also have other conditions (I have diabetes among other things). I hope you are well on the way to get some help and if you think of questions, I know folks here are great to give a little insight.

My health has been going down hill for some time. I was a nurse for over 10 years before I had to give it up to stay alive. I have Asthma, COPD, wear Oxygen, CPAP at night, insomnia, GERD, RLS and now on top of Fibromyalgia I am having other testing because I am anemic and B12 deficient. And they also think I might have RA. I have alot of bloodwork to do in the next 10 days to find out why I am anemic and B12 deficient and to confirm/deny that I have RA. I didn't really think I had Fibromyalgia until I started have some problems with my left shoulder, decreased ROM, pain, swelling, and none of it went away with over three months of Physical Therapy. So now I am just trying to get through the testing so that I can move on.
