Merck & Co. Inc. announced today that it is removing VIOXX from the market. Refer the the Arthritis Foundation Home Page at www.arthritis.org for updates throughout the day. If you are taking VIOXX, please contact your physician to discuss alternative treatments.

What do you think about the recall?

I've got to say that I MISS MY VIOXX!!!! Since I have stopped taking it,the quality of my life has been on a downhill direction. The Celebrex I now take just doesn't begin to alleviate the pain and discomfort. I have recently started augmenting with the "nine gin soaked golden raisins" and Glucosamine Chondritine caps and may even buy a magnetic bracelet in the hopes that it would help a bit. All of these things put together don't come close to the total relief I got with VIOXX, but since I come from a stroke prone family gene line I guess I will just keeps struggling with the pain.
