LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA..........Home of JEAN LA FITTE the pirate of Contraband bayou. Supposedly there are still buried treasures.........This is where La Fitte hid his ships while he aided our country during war...........He was bad guy, turned good guy. Few Peeps know that. We hold an annual Jean La Fitte celebration called CONTRABAND DAYS, and throw the MAYOR of the city from the plank into the Lake..

We've been hit by hurricane RITA head on, and IKE. I got sick with RA for the first time 3 days after IKE hit......


Plaquenil 600mg., Metoprolol 200mg.,, Hydrocodone 10/500, Elavil 100mg, Lisinopril 20mg,Ativan, Omega Complex, Milk Thistle
Primary Lupus and SecondaryRA, Fibromyalgia/CFS, Raynauds, Sjogrens...

Hi All!  Awesome thread!  I've seen three from Colorado on here - all on the eastern side of the Rockies.  I live in western Colorado - big, "little" city of Grand Junction.  Strangely, Bob B. in Woming seems to send all his weather down my side of the Divide! Thanks, Bob!  lol

So many new people on the forum and it's been a while since I originally posted to this thread so thought I'd post again.
I live in northwest Ohio not too far from Toledo. Grew up in norther New Jersey and my company transferred me out here 13 years ago. Never regretted it. Love the midwestern lifestyle and pace of life.
Also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

For the past 11 years I've been happy to be a resident of Mattapoisett, MA - 20 miles west of Cape Cod and 60 miles south of Boston. But I'm Midwest born and raised....... Chicago suburbs are "home" ......... married life has taken me to Minneapolis, Bloomington (IL), Iowa City, St. Louis, DesMoines, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Strongsville (OH) (to name a few!)
