I'm from even farther down south than Lefty in LA......I am an hour south west of New Orleans...HOUMA, LA.  Most people don't even know it exist, but we are actually a pretty big city, AND GROWING! New buildings going up every month, and new businesses opening all the time.  Alot of people say that Houma is one of the best kept secrets...I don't think it's so secret anymore, when you have to wait in traffic for FOREVER  !   LOL.

Cynthia

Grew up in Houston but now live just north of land-locked Dallas, TX. Too far from the mountains or a beach!

Vacherie, Louisiana here.............on beautiful Lac Des Allemends...............Not too far from you Cynthia...........was actually in Thibodaux this morning, doing a Wal-Mart Run.  I also wanted to let you know that there are a number of Rheumatologists located in Metairie, Louisiana.  If you need some phone numbers I will be glad to send them to you.  I go to Dr. John Nitsche and my daughters both go to Dr. Eversmeyer.

Marge

Valley of the Sun.... Scottsdale, Az.... Actually I think our motto is Most Livable City but that is presumptuous. So I'll go with Phoenix's moniker... I've been accused of being arrogant, but I'm not presumptuous. Heh...
