In our efforts to provide you with the latest news from Washington DC as it impacts people with arthritis, we are sharing the following press release issued September 4, 2008 from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, “FDA: Manufacturers of TNF-Blocker Drugs Must Highlight Risk of Fungal Infections”.

The Arthritis Foundation recommends that adult patients and parents of children being treated with TNF blockers work closely with their physicians to understand the risks, benefits and side effects clearly.
