There are several User Interface enhancements you will notice within the user dashboard. We hope you are eager to take advantage of these usability improvements as much as we are to offer them.

Improvements you will notice:

1. User dashboard will now leave a bread crumb trail for easy navigation throughout the user editing panel.

2. Account Settings options will now be available in the header of the application.

3. News Reader will now be accessible from the user dashboard.

4. Enhanced group administrative access and group management straight from the dashboard.

5. The user’s Control Panel options will now be combined with the User Dashboard to provide profile and member management from one convenient place.

Thanks for the input, but I need a dictionary to understand it.  What is a "user dashboard" and how does it function?

What is a "bread crumb trail"?

What is "News reader" and why do we care?

I think I'm not the only computer-illiterate person trying to use this board so technical terms and jargon are totally lost on me.  Thanks for trying.  God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

When you click on myProfile you will see those blue boxes on the left with different option to manage your personal profile. That's your user dashboard

Grandpavan you are absolutely correct as some these terms maybe technical jargon. It's probably a good thing that we are talking about this so you become more familiar with them whether you decide to refer to them or not.

What is a "bread crumb trail"?

This is a bread crumb:
Home > My Friend Requests (From Me)

It's a bread crumb because it leaves a trial from what page you started from to the last page separated by the greater than symbol.

What is "News reader" and why do we care?

Your news reader is located in the myNews tab on the top navigation bar as well as in myProfile on the top right site. When you click on either link you are taken to the myNews page where you can add news feeds from different news sources.

Thanks.  Now it is simple enough that maybe even I can understand it.

I thought some images might help. I'm off tonight, so this was something fun to do, better then finding script errors or updating server software.
