Hi....I used to post here, but today I found out I have undifferentiated connective tissue disease. I have a positive ANA, and now I have a positive JO-1 antibody, I recently had iritis and 3 episodes of severe joint & muscle pain that lasted 24 hrs then went away.... Since I don't have the rest of the markers for any of the diseases that are associated with these 2 markers, I was diagnosed with this.....I feel neither here nor there.... does anyone here have this? thanks

Diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease Sept '09....Started prednisone therapy Nov 12 '09

If God has a plan for me I hope He lets me in on it........

The most active forum on this board is Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA Connect) and many people there have diagnoses other than RA.  You are most likely to get help if you repost your item on that board.  I hope you get useful information.  God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

Hi,  I have been going thru some of this also.  I was originally diagnosed with Scleroderma by my first Rheumatologist and then my second opinion said that it was undifferential connective tissue disease.  I also have Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia.  I am trying to work with my doctor to get to the bottome of all of this but it has been difficult.  I joined another site called Inspire.  That site has been helpful answering all of my questions about the connective tissue diseases.
