I just turn 24 4 days ago. Yeah!!

I have been diagnosed with osteoartritis. But I am confused/wooried if there might be something more. I have through my entire spine and wrists but this is all I have had x rays on. Most days my back hips and neck hurt and on rainy days my knees will flare up.But now my shoulders and wrists have been really hurting and after reading that that is uncommon I wonder is someone may be going or gone through something similar. My Mom has psoratic  arthritis, RA and OA.

I don't blame you for being confused.  You are much younger than the typical onset of osteoarthritis but within the typical age of onset of RA or other inflammatory arthritis.  I hope you were diagnosed by a board-certified rheumatologist because few other doctors are really qualified to diagnose or treat inflammatory arthritis.  Even if you were diagnosed by a rheumatologist I strongly recommend a second opinion because you have real concerns.  I hope you get your concerns resolved and get effective treatment, whatever that is.  God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

First I would have to ask who said you have OA? Is it a rheumatologist? If your mom has PA and RA I would lean more towards one of the two if not both. I have PA, so can understand how you fee. I wasn't diagnosed til I was 21 but I started having symptoms of psorasis at age 11. I'm now 30. I would def say question everything. Your a little young to just be suffering from OA that is what I think i'm in no way a doctor but your right to question it. Good luck with your search for information.
