Hi all,
My niece, 21 months, was just diagnosed with JRA. But she had an atypical presentation. One of her hips on MRI looks like it has avascular necrosis. Has anyone else had this happen? Also, any suggestions for her parents re: dealing with JRA in a 21 months old?
Thanks.
Susan

This blog has helped me deal with a lot of questions I have had along the way. Also, they offer support from people who truly understand.... even if all you need to do is vent. In reality though, no matter how much support a parent has, it is crushing and frightening in the beginning. Over time you learn how to handle things and it does get better. I would suggest to your brother/sister to use this or other blogs (even if they don't want to actually post) to not feel so alone in this struggle.
