I when with my Rheumatologyst and it noticed a hump between my shoulders and neck  area, it hurts and when seeing myself on the mirror I can see like a little mountain in there.

I don't know you but the pain always is in there in the middle, I do not believe Is related with Cushing's Syndrome, I do think is related with Fibro and the Arthritis.

Have you expereince this?

I'm not really familiar with this but I think it is called "Buffalo Hump" and apparently comes from various causes.  Maybe the link below and the links from that will help you understand it.  God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

Thanks so much for your reply, I never heard about this word before, my rheumatologist, said that maybe I can have that, and send me with an Endocronologist.

I guess I will have to go, I don't think I do have cushings syndrome, most of the explanation I do not have it, but I don't know I am notg a Doctor. Today I went with my Family Doctor and he said, that my hump can be related with the autoimune disease and all the joint inflamation problem related that I do have. But thanks a lot for your info, I just was checking up and is very intereting.

Also I read something about your problem and I am very amazed the character that you have to be better and I do think that is great , that all this years with your pains ans aches and still you are up to show and tell people like me what does it mean?

I try to be like you everyday but sometimes I am just some dam--- tired and exhausted, it is hard to go to bed and wake up with the same pains and aches and stiffness in your bones.

I do wish you the best and keep in touch and your granchildren are lucky to have you, I'll wish to have my granparent's.

Cheers

Janette
