I have been in pain Medication for almost 3 years before I start all the Medication I weight 150 pounds and after the fact I am 219 pounds
and is not because I eat a lot, my doctor explained was the medication and also because the pain and aches and stiffness of the body I do no have that much activity like before, that I do understand, but why too much weight?
Have you have the same Problem?

Janette, I see you are working hard to understand your disease and its treatments. While this forum is for Fibro, it is not very active. However, the Rheumatoid Arthritis forum is extremely active and some of the people also have Fibro. Also they may use the same medications you do and some face the same eating problems. While you might concentrate on this forum I do think you should also check out the RA forum for additional support. God bless.
Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter. Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

I too find myself ballooning out of control. Its not for lack of activity. I don't eat a ton. Its because I can't do any extra to work out with the pain. It hurts too much to do what I do already. I have a seven yr old daughter that I homeschool and a part time job where there is no time for sitting down. I work for 4 hours 4 days out of the week and 8 hours 1 day. Not sure what to tell you, but I am in the same boat.
