Last night my daughter showed me a rash on her arm that looks more like eczema than the systemic jra rash so I didn't worry about it. This morning she woke up with pain in her heel. I just told her it was from her shoes and gave her ibuprofin and sent her to school. I don't want her to worry about it if possible. This has happened before in the year she has been off her meds, but it was always when she had a cold or another illness that triggered the joint pain. This time she is only two weeks out from gallbladder surgery, so maybe that is triggering it and it will just go away again. I really hope so. She has been through so much pain and illness in the last year, but she was always so happy that the arthritis was at least gone. I really hope this is just nothing.

Nicole is still having pain in her ankle, heel, and hip. Nothing that can't be handled with ibuprofin though. She isn't having any rash or fevers, so I am still hopeful that it is just a slight bump in the road that will work itself out soon.

Julie~

That is a hopeful update...and we hope and pray the next update is even better.  It's so scary because when our kids have any type of anything...this stupid disease is where our minds end up.  I will keep her in our thoughts and prayers!
