Our peds office just got in a limited supply of H1N1 vaccine, but it contains mercury. I read that there will be a batch of mercury free vaccine coming, but it may take awhile. Have any of your docs said anything about it mattering which one your child receives?

All we were told is that she should have it.
We just can't get it. Our peds office isn't even getting it.
I may be able to get her vaccinated Nov. 5th and that's taking her out of school and drive 25 miles one way, waiting in a line and hopping that we get there soon enough for her to have the vaccine.

I am really not sure if this is a good thing or not. My sister has fibro and a doctor said that she should not get it. It is related to arthritis family and the thing that she read said that the nuero-toxins could be deadly. I know that it is affecting a lot of different people, but it has not been fully tested. I am not sure that I am even going to get it for my son.

Our family dr. told us that my daughter with JIA should not have the oral vaccine, but she should get the injectable vaccine. I have not done either yet...still trying to decide!!
