Hello everyone,

Just a little update on C.J. It's a miracle!!!! Your prayers are working!!!! We're so blessed! C.J. greeted me with a beautiful smile this morning! I just about fainted. He has improved dramatically overnight. I just can't believe it. As you can tell I'm blown away. He literally looked like he was going to die yesterday morning. I cried and cried in his room and made myself sick. But today was amazing!

After C.J. being in the hospital since Sept 20th, today was the second day he said he was hungry. He asked where his little boys were, he LAUGHED, HE SMILED, he spoke in sentences and made sense, he looked like himself again! He followed commands, he's moving both arms and feet, and even bending his legs. He's trying to sit up, moving his head from side to side and doesn't have that stare in his eyes. He's actually following people with his eyes. He asked me to give him a kiss and remembered one of my pet names he had given me years and years ago! I'm so happy...can you tell????

I want to thank everyone of you who has prayed for us. My family appreciates everyone of you. I don't know where I'd be personally if I didn't have this family. Thank you from the top, the bottom and the sides of my heart.

I know he has a very long road ahead of him, but I'm so thankful to hear his voice again. Thanks again and have a blessed weekend!

God Bless all my RA Friends!

This calls for great prayers of thanksgiving. I believe God always answers prayers but not always in ways that we can recognize. The answer to our prayers for CJ are clearly visible. More prayers are also on the way for continued improvement. God bless.

Age 82, diagnosed RA 12/2001, married since 1952, 4 sons no daughters, 4 grandsons 1 granddaughter.  Doing well on Methotrexate and Remicade.

Tammy - Thank you so much for posting with your wonderful news. God certainly has blessed you with today! We will keep praying, Tammy, for CJ, for you, for your family, for as long as you need the prayers. Just know that we may be scattered around the country - or world - but our prayers are united. I once read a book about a woman who had a "near death" experience and thought she actually did go to heaven. In the book, she tells of how she was standing in heaven and could view earth. She asked the angels what the beautiful rays of light were she could see coming from earth. She described some as small beams and others as bright radiant rays of light. The angels told her those were prayers coming from earth to heaven. The brighter and more radiant the light, the more people were praying. Just imagine how great and radiant that light is going to heaven for your CJ, Tammy. Rest well tonight. Pam

Praise God! For He alone is worthy! I'm so very happy and excited for you and your family, Tammy! God is soooo good! He's always good!
Prayers will continue, and I'm so happy to hear God is moving and healing C.J. I had faith He would; just knew it.
Take care, kiss that man of yours, and enjoy this day!
"This is the day the Lord hath made; I shall rejoice and be glad in it!"
Amen.

Love and hugs,

What amazing news! I wonder if him being sick delayed his progress before you knew he was that ill, and now that he's getting better you can see it.
Whatever the reason, I am so glad for him (and you).

Tammy,

I haven't been on site all week, so this is my first opportunity to read your note. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am to read that God is answering our prayers regarding CJ. Please know that my prayers will continue for all of you.

God bless,

Robin

Thanks again friends,

C.J. had a good day today. His color is getting better and better as the days go by. He's relaxing more and understanding a little more each day. He actually found the TV on the wall tonight after we coached him in the right direction. He even watched a little football and basketball for a few minutes.

I, on the other hand am in pain. It started a few days ago, but I'm taking my Lortab faithfully. The weather changed drastically and it has been raining for weeks. I've been forced to rest more and count on my oldest son Cody. He's been a great help with his dad @ the hospital. Chris is still having a hard time dealing with his dad being sick and in the hospital, but I think he'll visit him tomorrow.

C.J. has been stating the last 2 days he's hungry and there's no food in the house he's in now. Isn't that pitiful? He's hungry, can't eat and thinks he's living in a house somewhere. He has taken the feeding tube out three times so far and I'm sure theres more to come. How uncomfortable that must be.

I hope ya'll had a good Halloween and a good weekend. I'll be in touch, and as always thank you for the prayers.

God Bless all my RA Friends!

It sounds like he is still moving in the right direction but we all wish it was a lot faster. I hope you can take enough care of yourself to get to feeling better also. More prayers are on the way. God bless.
