I'm not sure how many of you out there are on disability from social security but,I feel the need to vent.I'm reading the posts of people applying and it makes my heart ache because I've been there, done that.I understand that the world the way it is, they need to "weed out" all the fakes, but really! It took me 5 years after our motorcycle accident and probably the start of arthritis to prove myself. To this day I cannot figure this out! To look at me you'ld know it's hard for me to walk any distance at all, for I am permanently bent over in pain.I've had pain long enough to know it's something I could never fake, just look at my face.If it had not been for my husband I would have been living in a cardboard box at my local park.Does ss not realize the economy sucks and people without insurance can't afford to go to all THEIR doctors? It makes me sooo angry.Someone when I applied said you have to do all this to satisfy them but come on.It took me going before a judge before I was finally able to state my case and have someone actually see the pain in my face. For all of you out there Don't give up and keep appealing if you can.Make them look at you as a person instead of a number. Thanks for letting me vent and know that you're always heard here!!!!
A SMILE IS THE LIGHT IN THE WINDOW OF YOUR FACE...IT LETS PEOPLE KNOW YOU'RE HOME.

Friends,
I am fully insured, health, Long term disability, life, dental and eye and I don't pay a dime for it and never have, it has always been provided by my employer. I have great insurance!! that being said:
I THINK IT SHOULD BE THE BIRTH RIGHT OF EVERYONE IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS TO HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE!
A great society takes care of its poor and disabled, we as a great society are la##### in this area!
We need to find a way, it is truly a heart breaking reality! We must find a way it is the human thing to do!!!!

I had great ins they just used my wanting to transfer back to NC as a excuse to not let me said I couldnt come back because of pain meds didnt bother them for the last 10 years and there is no way of me working without them I have to take a break just doing small things at home and riding has gotten to where it makes me sore but yes everyone should have affordable health ins seems those that really need help has a time with everything they try to get as far as help.Seems like I am running in circles but thats the way it goes.

Hi, I got kinda lucky, because I'm single I got medicade, so I never went without medical care or RX's and the township I live in paid my rent, of course to be paid back when I won, but that was a huge help, and of course food stamps.
