I started Remicade about seven weeks ago and have noticed my weight going up almost daily without changing my diet. Has anyone else experienced that? With what I already had from Medrol, I do not need more!

Hi Mary,
I had that problem, too. (sigh...) Maybe we both ought to jump over to Orencia? My weight gain wasn't that fast, though. I gained 7 pounds in 7 months, enough to make my clothes tight, though.
Hugs,

Glad it's not just me! My doc is talking about switching me to Orencia because the Remicade does not seem to be doing the trick. I've had my third one - last Friday - and had to go in for a steroid injection on Monday because I was still in so much pain from the flare I had been dealing with before the infusion. Now today I'm about ready to reach for the Vicodin again because my hands hurt so bad. I'm beginning to feel like my RA is out of control and about to bowl me over! I keep telling myself this is just another bump in the road and things will get better....but I have too much to do to wait around! Do they have a pill for patience? Thanks for your support.
