arthritus and blood thinners
Posted by: von Ingram on May 12, 2009 at 8:05AM EST

Hi,

I have a friend who was recently prescribd blood thinners. He also suffers from arthritis. He was taking fish oil, which helped. The Dr now advises against the fish oil as an anti-inflammatory, due to the blood thinning effects. Anyone know of any alternatives? Ginger maybe?

thanx

von

Try Omega XL. No known side effects and no blood thinning. Very good all-natural anti-inflammatory product. Their website is www.omegaxl.com

I believe I have read something recently about blood thinners & ginger causing problems with it. I am not an expert in this so please check in to that carefully. Unfortunately there is not a lot of research with some natural remedies and interactions with medicines. To be safe, check with the doctor before adding any natural remedies.
