Orencia

Wanted feedback on Orencia.My 16 year old daughter will have first infusion this week & would like to hear from someone who has tried this. Failed therapy with Enbrel & Methotrexate.

I just got off Orencia cause it didn't work for me and now I'm on Enbrel and it seems to be working. I was born with JRA and am 35 now. My disease is pretty severe (I can still walk short distances). If you need support, e-mail me vicbonicholls@gmail.com. I'm Vicki, BTW

I have been on Orencia infusions since February 6, 2008, after failing with Methotrexate and Enbrel. The Orencia took a good six months to begin showing signs of efficacy, but I am doing well now.

I was diagnosed with JRA at age 2 and am now 41 years old. I have had five surgeries in the past two and a half years but still work full-time and intend on swimming the Hudson River this year, again, for charity.

Take care and don't give up.
