hi my son has been diagnosed with jia about a year ago he takes methotrexate,enbrel,folic acid enbrels not working to well anymore dr is going to change his enbrel to something else but im not sure what my son has arthritis in his hips knees and ankles hes only 14 yrs old

Hi. My name is Angela Flores from iligan City, Philippines. i've had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since 3 yrs. old and diagnosed at 7yrs old. I am already 36yrs. old. I would like to ask for financial help for the medicine enbrel. I am jobless and my mom supports my medicines but not enough for enbrel. HI ! This is my first entry. I hope someone out there can help me. All my pains started April 07. I finally was officially diagnosed Aug 08. I have RA in my feet,ankles,knees,hips wrists and hands. OA in my heels,knees,spine,neck (cervical spondolyosis),shoulders and elbows. plus fibromyalgia. I am currently on methaltrexate and plaquenil. My CRP and Sed went back up. My rheumatologist wants to start me on enbrel. My insurance pays 70%. The cost will still be $275. Does anyone know of any financial assistance for this drug? |
