I am a 39 yo Male and I have Osteo Necrosis in my right hip and in the Scafoid bone of my left wrist. I am right handed. I am a Small Engine Mechanic and I am having intermittent pain in my left wrist that causes me to drop whatever I am holding in it. I also have intermittent pain in my right hip. I have been offered a partial hip replacement and fusion of my wrist. I am a very active individual. Being a mechanic I need range of motion in my wrist. I am wondering if an artificial wrist replacement might be a solid option for me. Also, the pain in my wrist and hip is not (for me) sufficient enough (at this time) to cause any major problems. I can, generally, still do everything I need to do and deal with the pain. Would delaying both surgeries be beneficial or would doing so present more problems down the line. Thank you for your time.
